The purpose of this Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is to establish a list of contractors who meets the requirements. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The new well will have a borehole diameter of 12 inches and a depth of 350-feet; it will be screened in its lowest 50 feet; it will have 6” steel casing and screen, a submersible 20 HP pump hanging at 250 ft, and a 1,000 gallons pressure tank. The work shall include: 1. Coordination of working with drilling, plumbing, and electrical subcontractors; 2. Design of a 350-ft water production well at Modesto Reservoir; 3. Design of plumbing and electrical connections to existing water system (approximately 50 feet); 4. Procurement of a suitable 20 HP pump and a 1,000 gallons pressure tank; 5. Design of the concrete pads and attachments of the pump and the pressure tank; 6. Provide and install 8’ chain link fence and access gate around the perimeter of water system. 7. Supervision of well drilling, construction, plumbing and electrical; 8. Turn-key delivery of a properly working new well. Work shall include, but is not limited to well drilling, testing and disposal of drill cuttings and fluids, compliance with discharge requirements, geophysical surveys, removal and evaluation of pump equipment, pump installation and testing, aquifer testing, well disinfection, borehole drilling, installation of blank well casing, well development by airlifting and swabbing and pumping and surging, capping well casing and ancillary tubing, and site cleanup and restoration.
