Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and theater / auditorium.
Construction Manager at Risk - Austin Security and Renovation. This project includes management and construction of security fencing surrounding Headquarters (HQ) Campus and renovations to one building on HQ campus. The security fencing will include reconfiguring the parking lots and repairing existing infrastructure to create barriers to entry and access points. The building renovations will include converting a space that is currently cafeteria and kitchen areas into an auditorium/classroom and adding restrooms. This contract will be awarded based on experience and qualifications focusing on projects of similar size and type. The contractor awarded this project will collaborate with DPS and its Architects and Engineers (A/E) during the completion of construction documents including review and comments at each negotiated milestone prior to completion of Construction Documents. The Contractor's expertise will be used to affect value engineering, establish a project schedule and ultimately determine the guaranteed maximum price (GMP). The services include attending meetings, consultation of plan reviews, constructability reviews, and cost estimating. Project of management and construction of security fencing surrounding Austin Headquarters campus and renovations to one building on campus. DPS reserves the right to investigate and determine the financial integrity and responsibility of a Respondent and to reject a response on the grounds of Respondent's lack of financial soundness, or if DPS reasonably concludes, after reviewing the information submitted by Respondent as well as all other relevant information obtained by DPS, that significant issues exist that could jeopardize Respondent's full and timely perform Question Deadline 03/14/2024 at 5:00 PM CT Last day to submit written questions for clarification to DPS A.
