The City of Batavia may deliver tests to laboratories within a 50 mile radius of the City approximately once per week. If the laboratory is outside of this 50 mile radius, the laboratory must provide a courier service. The courier shall provide all necessary coolers, containers, etc. as needed. The samples shall be picked up at the Batavia Wastewater Treatment Plant, 5 Treadeasy Avenue, or at the Water Filtration Plant, 480 Lehigh Avenue between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday - Friday Only quotations that provide all of the analytical services requested for either Wastewater, or Potable Water will be considered for award of this work. The City of Batavia reserves the right to cancel this quotation work upon 15 days notice. Results of testing shall be provided to the City within 15 days of sample pick-up by the courier Contract term: 2 years Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No The award of this work shall be based on the lowest total cost of all analytical services for either the Wastewater, or Potable Water, testing as totaled at the end of the Water Filtration Plant bid sheets, and Wastewater Treatment Facility bid sheet. Laboratory service providers can submit additional information with their quote to provide adjustments to pricing if both Wastewater and Potable Water work is awarded to one laboratory. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities in the bidding.
