Phase 1 - The Work will include a 2" mill and overlay of the Aviation Hangar lot, an area comprising roughly 32,000 square feet. The work area shall be saw cut at a distance of approximately 8' from buildings and structure to maintain a smooth transition into the remaining asphalt. The area of approximate 32,000 sq ft shall be milled to a depth of 2". The area shall be cleaned with a power broom and all spoils hauled away as necessary. The area shall be replaced with a 2" compacted, surface grade asphalt and all edges hand tamped. Joints to be sand seal cold joints. Slope work to include proper slope for drainage at existing stormwater drains. Work to be completed during term break so as not to impact program needs. 2.2. Phase 2 - Work also to include a commercial sealcoat for all new areas and to existing buildings, applying 2 coats of commercial sealer to an area approximately 35,000 sq ft. Application of seal coat to take place within one year of overlay, during a term break so as not to impact program needs.
