Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Wheaton, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Project overview: The work to be done for this project, shown on the Drawings entitled, "Danada Visitor Gardens Native Landscape," prepared by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County dated February 27, 2024, consists of renovations of the existing Danada Native Display Gardens. This includes the preparation of approximately9,600 square feet of planting beds, including the removal of15 shrubs, installation of 4,545 plugs or containers, 48shrubs, and 2 trees. Installation of plants will include mulching as specified in the plans. Questions shall be directed to Jon Melin at jmelin@dupageforest.org The bids must be accompanied by a 10% bid security. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act,820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. The contractor shall also abide bythe employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act(30 ILCS 570, sec 1-7). The Forest Preserve Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
