SAGUARO BLOOM COMMUNITY PARK; LANDSCAPING IMPROVEMENTS: This contract shall be for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation, and services for the construction and/or installation of all improvements shown on the Plans, including, but not limited to the following: 1.Landscape Plans Saguaro Bloom Community Park (LPR2103-001)- The work consists of plantings, irrigation, hardscape, and associated improvements. No questions will be answered verbally. No explanation answer to technical question, representations nor comments will be made by the Owner s personnel concerning this Project. Technical questions regarding this Project may be submitted in writing by email to the following: jeff.stine@epsgroupinc.com. Questions will be taken until Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 5:00 P.M., Arizona Time. Technical questions received prior to the Pre-Bid Conference and during the Pre-Bid Conference will be answered at said conference. An Addendum of Addenda will be issued on the technical questions received in writing, if the Owner or engineer of record are of the opinion that a formal addendum is required to fully answer the question or questions raised. If an addendum is deemed necessary it will be posted online to the FTP site (see above) by no later than the end of business day Monday, March 25, 2024. Work shall be completed within 100 working days, beginning with the day following the starting date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Form provided and be accompanied by the Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid, payable to D.R. HORTON, INC., or a certified or cashier's check. PERSONAL OR INDIVIDUAL SURETY BONDS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. The successful bidder will be required to execute the D.R. HORTON, INC. Contract and respective Addenda for construction within ten (10) days after formal Notice of Contact Award. Failure by bidder to properly execute the Contract and provide the required certification as specified shall be considered a breach of Contract by bidder. D.R. HORTON, INC. shall be free to terminate the Contract or, at option, release the successful bidder. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required for this Work. The successful bidder, simultaneously with the execution of the Contract, shall be required to furnish a Payment Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, and a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Successful Bidder shall name D.R. HORTON, INC. as obligee on both the Payment and Performance Bonds and name the Town of Marana as an additional obligee on the Performance Bond using a Dual Obligee Rider form. An approved Dual Obligee Rider Form is attached to the Contract Documents. The right is hereby reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereto, to waive any informalities in any proposal and reject the bids of any persons who have been delinquent or unfaithful to any contract with D.R. HORTON, INC.; Town of Marana or Saguaro Springs Community Facilities District No. 1. Work shall be completed within 100 working days, beginning with the day following the starting date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
