Renovation of a military facility in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Only Mechanical MACC Contractors listed on the General Requirements cover page may submit a proposal for this ROICC Camp Lejeune area of responsibility project. See attached documents for scope of work and any applicable drawings. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS NAVFAC Solicitation No.: N40085-24-R-2613 Public Works Project No.: 24-0404 Title: Chiller Replacement Bldg.'s 101, 111, RR5, FC360, FC371, 12, S59B Contract Completion Date: 640 days after award Estimated Cost Range: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 Wage Determination: General Decision Number: NC20240010 1/05/2024 Liquidated Damages: $880 per Calendar Day Notes: One person may fill the roles of Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, and Safety and Health Officer, if duly qualified for all three positions as defined in the project specification. Special Scheduling: The facility/activity will remain in operation during the entire construction period. The Contractor shall conduct his operations so as to cause the least possible interference with normal operations of the facility/activity. Basis for Award: Lowest Price Proposal Acceptance Period: 60 days from receipt of offers Site Visit: February 28, 2024, at 0900 Bond Requirements: Bid bonds are required in accordance with FAR 53.301-24. An electronic copy of your bid bond may be submitted with your proposal. Failure to submit a bid bond by the deadline will result in your proposal being removed from consideration. Payment and/or performance bond(s) will be requested at the time of award per the current process. No bonds are required for proposals less than $40K. Proposals valued at $40K and greater will require a payment bond only. Proposals valued at $150K and greater will require a bid bond, a payment bond, and a performance bond. Requests for Information (RFIs): RFIs must be submitted by the prime contractor to kyle.l.vaughan2.civ@us.navy.mil. The cut off for RFIs is March 13, 2024, by 2:00 PM EST in order to process all inquiries by the proposal due date. General Description: 1. BLDG 101- 85-ton chiller. Disconnect size is 600-amp, 240 volts. Heat trace breaker is in mechanical room next to chiller. Circuit #14 Eaton Bran Breaker panel. Pump P-1 is 172 GPM, 50' of head. 1750 RPM 5hp 208v 3ph 60 hertz. P-1A is a standby pump and same as P-1. 2. BLDG 111- 85-ton chiller. Disconnect size is 600-amp, 240 volts. Heat trace breaker is in mechanical room next to chiller. Circuit #14 Eaton Bran Breaker panel. Pump P-1 is 172 GPM, 50' of head. 1750 RPM 5hp 208v 3ph 60 hertz. P-1A is a standby pump and same as P-1. 3. RR5- 70-ton chiller. Disconnect size is 400-amp, 240 volts disconnect. Heat trace circuit is located inside building electrical room. Pump P-1 is in room 115. 176.6 GPM 55 head. 208 volts, 3 phase, 5 HP. 4. FC 360-75-ton chiller. Disconnect is 600 amp, 240 volts. Heat trace circuit is in mechanical room next to chiller. Pump P-1 is the system pump. 228.8 GPM, 50' of head. 1750 RPM 208 volts 3 ph. 5 HP. P-2 is the chilled water system pump. 220 GPM 50' of head. 1750 RPM 208 volts, 3ph 5HP. 5. FC371-125-ton chiller. Disconnect size is 800-amp, 600 volts. Heat trace is in mechanical room. Chiller water pump is 475 GPM, 88' head, 20hp, 1750 RPM. 6. BLDG 12-70-ton chiller. Disconnect size is 200 amp 600 volts. Heat trace circuit is located inside building electrical room. Pump P-2 is 141 GPM, 56' Head, 5HP, 460V, 1750 RPM. 7. BLDG S59B (BLDG59/60) - 145 nominal ton chiller. Disconnect is in chiller yard by chiller. Heat trace circuit is in mechanical room beside chiller yard. Pump P1-P2 is 377 GPM, 75 ft of head, 10hp, 208v 3ph. Contract Completion Date: 640 days after award CONST CONTR NO. - N62470-00-B-4718 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
