Although a firm timeline has not been established, the first phase is not expected to start prior to spring of 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Pocatello is seeking responses from qualified firms or individual to provide ongoing professional design/drafting consultant services. Consultants need to be able to provide all services described herein. Interested consultants should possess competency in the following areas of expertise: A. Idaho Standards for Public Works Contracting (ISPWC) B. City of Pocatello Public Works Design Principles and Standards C. General traffic engineering D. Federal Highway Administration Requirements E. ASHTO Roadside Design Guide F. Familiarity with any and all other applicable Standards Inquires Due: Monday, March 4, 2024 by 10:00 am MST Inquiries must be submitted in writing via email to both becky.babb@pocatello.gov. Questions must be received no later than Monday, March 4, 2024 by 10:00 am MST. The scope of work will vary and be at the discretion of the City, including, but not limited to, design of the Hiline Widening Project, EXCEPT for the design of a signal at the intersection of El Rancho Road and Hiline Rd, at the request of City staff. Firm or individual must be able to perform the following services in a timely manner once requested by City staff. Specific services may include Under the supervision of the City Public Works/Design Engineer, provide transportation designs, roadway designs, and street designs, and minor utility upgrades which may include: construction drawings, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and contract bid documents. Other peripheral/miscellaneous tasks and duties may be assigned as necessary to meet the City's needs.
