Renovation of a stadium in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.

The intent of this project is to replace the underfloor heat exchanger at the Kinsmen Arena Hockey Rink. The successful respondent shall replace the under-floor heat exchanger. See Figure 1 - Heat Exchanger Spec Plate, for existing heat exchanger details. The successful respondent shall remove and dispose of the existing calcium chloride. The successful respondent shall flush the floor with water to remove debris/residue. The successful respondent shall weld as needed. The successful respondent is responsible for removing welding fumes from the mechanical room to prevent pollution from entering the attached public areas. The welding fumes shall be removed with an axle fan attached to an exhaust sock; the exhaust sock shall exhaust fumes outside the building through an exterior door that is adjacent to the welding area. Alternative ventilation solutions may be submitted to the Capital Project Coordinator for approval. The successful respondent shall fill the system with new calcium chlorid The successful respondent shall add a Brine Inhibitor to the system. The successful respondent shall perform two (2) brine samples. One (1) sample after the new heat exchanger has been installed and the pump has been run. The other sample shall be taken after the plant has began operation, in consultation with the Facilities and Building Supervisor The City of Moose Jaw is seeking quotation to replace the Underfloor Heat Exchanger at the Kinsmen Arena in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
