Renovation of a municipal facility in Arlington, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 444-square-foot municipal facility.

Justice of the Peace Reception Area Renovation for Arlington, Mansfield, Miller, Northeast, Northwest Subcourthouse Justice of the Peace Reception Renovation - The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of security enhancements for the Justice of the Peace reception areas. The existing transaction area casework and walls are to be removed and replaced with UL 752 Level 3 rated ballistic protection. This includes drywall assemblies, casework, doors, glazing, and transaction trays. Door hardware and electronic security devices are to be salvaged for reuse within the newly protected openings. New porcelain tile flooring is provided for clerk and waiting areas. Electrical and electronic security scope is limited to locations affected by the renovations. This project consists of security enhancements for the Justice of the Peace reception areas at five (5) separate locations. At each location, the existing transaction area casework and walls are to be removed and replaced with UL 752 Level 3 rated ballistic protection. This includes drywall assemblies, casework, doors, glazing, and transaction trays. The five (5) locations include Subcourthouse in Arlington, Subcourthouse in Mansfield, Miller Avenue Administration, Northeast Courthouse, and J.D. Johnson Northwest Subcourthouse. 1. Johnson Northwest Subcourthouse, 6713 Telephone Road, Lake Worth, TX 76135 RSVP: Vendors planning to attend the Pre-Bid Conference and site walks should RSVP via email to: BidQuestionsRSVP@tarrantcountytx.gov by 4:00 p.m., CST, MONDAY, MAY 13, 2024. In the email, state your company name, names of attendees, an email address, and phone number for each attendee, and reference the solicitation for which you are RSVPing. Confirmed receipt by Tarrant County of this email is required. Questions from bidders will be addressed at the pre-bid conference. Any vendor who submits a bid without attending the scheduled pre-bid conference and site walks does so at his own risk. Such applicant who submits a bid and does not attend the scheduled pre-bid conference and site walks waives any right to assert claims due to undiscovered conditions. Bids will be evaluated and awarded to the lowest total bid meeting specifications. Award will be All or None. Note: All work will be done from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Central Time Monday through Friday unless otherwise indicated. BID BOND There is NO bid bond required on this project. PAYMENT BOND For a contract exceeding $25,000, a payment bond shall be executed in the amount of the contract solely for the protection of all claimants supplying labor or furnishing the material used on this project. PERFORMANCE BOND For a contract exceeding $100,000, a performance bond shall be executed in the amount of the contract upon the faithful performance of the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. This bond shall be solely for the protection of Tarrant County. The cost for bond premiums must be included in the bid price as a separate line item. Question Deadline 05/16/2024 at 12:00 PM CT
