Clark Elementary and Clark Middle School Traffic Loop Safety Improvement and Repairs The project consists of the demolition of an existing asphalt staff parking lot at the Clark Middle School. The project consists of the construction of a new concrete parking lot with striping, ADA stalls, sidewalks, and ADA ramps. This project also consists of the construction of a 20' wide concrete parent drop-off lane for the new Clark Elementary School, and restriping a portion of the new Clark Elementary School drives. The project also consists of relocating existing light poles and installing the necessary storm water pollution prevention measures. Contractor must submit online and paper. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 3/18/2024 03:00:00 PM (CT) questions need to be submitted through the E-Bid Portal. Aggregate Estimated Cost: $450,000.00 Quotations must be submitted in original signed in Blue ink and one photocopy. Submit pricing as required and specified by the Proposal Form included in the project specification book (In U.S. Dollars). If more space is needed for responding, you may use company letterhead to complete pricing. Contractor must submit with their proposal their RS Means Breakdown for the proposed project. Please submit a listing of all subcontractors being utilized in this project on your company letterhead. If no subcontractor is being utilized please denote that on your company letterhead as well. Construction start date: June 1, 2024 Substantial completion date: July 31, 2024 Final completion: August 31, 2024 Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (48 hour notice must be provided to District's project manager in order to work on site during weekends) Liquidated Damages: $1,500.00 / Calendar Day beyond contract time. General Contingency Allowance Amount (to be used with District approval only): $50,000.00 That the Owner has the right to reject the proposal. To hold my proposal open for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of receipt. Payment Bond will be requested from awarded vendor for projects over $25,000.00 and Performance Bond for projects over $100,000.00 The awarded vendor must provide the appropriate bonding required by the district prior to the start of construction.
