The Town of Raynham is hereby soliciting sealed bids for the Drainage Works Improvements - Town-Wide Every request for such interpretation shall be emailed to skashi@gpinet.com. To be given consideration, requests must be received by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, March 06 , 2024. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the specifications which, when issued, will be emailed to all prospective bidders (at the respective email address furnished by them for such purposes). Failure of any bidder to receive any such addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under his bid as submitted. All addenda so issued shall become part of the Contract Documents. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. Attention is directed to the Prevailing Wage Rates to be paid as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 and 27D inclusive. ALL PROCUREMENT QUESTIONS SHALL BE DIRECTED TO BUYER OF RECORDFORTHIS PROJECT The work under this contract consists of proposed drainage installation (Stormwater Management) and associated work Town-Wide in the Town of Raynham, MA. The owner has identified a portion of Mill St. which will require work under this contract and has prepared this set of drawings which are included hereinafter as attachment D. Additional locations for drainage installation (Stormwater Management) may be selected by the owner for work under this contract. All work under this contract shall be done in conformance with the 2023 Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges, Supplemental Specifications to the aforementioned Standard Specifications, the 2017 Construction Standard Details, the Traffic Management Plans and Detail Drawings, the 1990 Standard Drawings for Signs and Supports; the 2015 Overhead Signal Structure and Foundation Standard Drawings, the 2009 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) with Massachusetts Amendments; the 1968 Standard Drawings for Traffic Signals and Highway Lighting; the latest edition of The American Standard for Nursery Stock; the Plans and these Contract Documents. Additional drawings showing details in accordance with which the Work is to be done may be furnished by addendum from time to time during the bidding period by the Owner or its Architect/Engineer and shall then become a part of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item.
