Pavement Resurfacing, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Pavement Preservation Sidewalk Repair and Construction/Reconstruction Dam Repair and Construction Bridge Repair/Rehabilitation/Fencing Drainage Construction General Roadway/Bridge Contracts will consist of the items typically found in the various types of contracts indicated as well as any associated items relevant to the project and/or location. Bid documents, when published, will detail the exact nature of the contract and required project elements. Per city ordinance all contractors interested in bidding are required to submit a sealed prequalification package, and have the prequalification approved prior to submitting a bid. Prequalification forms may be obtained at the Office of the Department of Public Works for five ($5.00) dollars, downloaded as attached to this electronic notification or directly from our website Project specific prequalification packages will be still be accepted prior to individual bids (1 week in advance) however submission of the annual prequalification package will satisfy this requirement for the remainder of CY 2024. All contractors who have satisfied the prequalification requirements for each forthcoming project will be contacted relative to that bidding opportunity upon its publishing on the city website.
