Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Spanish Fort, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a 18,980-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
For furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work required by the following project: CITY OF SPANISH FORT, CENTRAL FIRE STATION The construction work is generally described as follows: Construction of a new, +/-19,000 sq. ft. Fire Station and associated Site Work. A certified check or a Bidder s Bond, payable to the Owner for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid, but in no event more than ten thousand ($10,000.00) dollars, shall be filed with the bid, the Bidder s Bond being prepared on the form specified and signed by a bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Alabama. A Performance Bond in the form and terms approved by the Owner in an amount not less than the sum bid will be required at the signing of the Contract, in addition to a Labor and Materials Bond in the form and terms approved by the Owner in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price insuring payment for all labor and materials. Three hundred eighty (380) calendar days are allowed for the construction of the project The right is reserved to reject any and/or all bids and to waive informalities and to furnish any item of material or work to change the amount of said Contract.
