Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Marianna, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the following major items: Installation of four (4) chlorine booster stations and enclosures. The sponsor hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Acts of 1938, and The American Iron and Steel provisions as defined in 42U.S.C. 300j-12(a)(4) of the State Drinking Water Act. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply. Any construction award of $20,000 or more can only be issued to a Contractor appropriately licensed in the State of Arkansas. The OWNER may reject any or all BIDS, and/or waive informalities or minor irregularities in BIDS received.
