Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project consists generally of the following major items: Removal and replacement of an existing endwall for a 96 RCP culvert crossing Saratoga Drive. Work shall include clearing, temporary shoring, pipe extension, foundation preparation, endwall placement, and bank stabilization. Additional items include, but are not limited to, maintenance of traffic, erosion control and soil stabilization, and restoration or existing roadway and residential infrastructure. All queries/questions regarding the project plans and/or specifications need to be submitted to Gilles Bellot at Gilles.Bellot@raleighnc.gov by May 20, 2024 at 4:00 PM for consideration. Answers to questions or a final addendum, if needed, will be issued by May 23, 2024 to all bidders email addresses. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. Furthermore, the Citys goal is to contract or sub-contract fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount to certified MWBEs on construction projects over $300,000, or with contracts that include $100,000 or more in state funding.
