Bidders are invited to furnish the Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School with project proposals for two new entry doors at the Elementary School. Estimated Cost $25,000 A mandatory pre-bid conference and walk-through are scheduled for 03:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024, and also 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024. All interested bidders shall meet at the main entrance to Abby Kelley Foster Charter Elementary School, 10 New Bond St., Worcester, MA, at 03:30 p.m Friday March 1, 2024, and or 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2024. In order to be considered for this project, all interested parties will have attended at least one of these bid project walks. Any contractor submitting a bid that did not attend a Pre-bid conference will not be considered for this project. No exceptions. Questions regarding the bid specifications must be submitted to the Director of Facilities via email at acruickshank@akfcs.org no later than three days before (Tuesday, March 13, 2024, at 11 AM) the bid opening. Said questions shall be answered in writing and distributed to all bidders having received bid packages by addendum. All bidders shall acknowledge receipt of all addenda with their bid. Contractor to complete all work, inspections, and relevant testing at least one day prior to school reopening on April 22 (if the project begins on April 15, 2024, and ends on April 19) or by June 22, 2024 (If the project begins on June 17, 2024, and completes on June 21). These dates are dependent on the week the project begins.
