It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid to establish a contract for the Installation of approximately 13,500 square feet of Security Laminate for Carroll County Public Schools. The successful contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, tools, equipment, supervision, insurance, permits, and services required for the installation of the security laminate in accordance with the provisions of this Invitation to Bid and as outlined in this Summary of Work and the enclosed Specifications. Work will be performed during the summer, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM M-F beginning on June 17, 2024. No laminate or caulking work will be allowed during the regular school function calendar. Weekend work to accommodate the contractor will be permitted provided the contractor has been working the allotted 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM work schedule during the week. A 48-hour notice will be required to arrange CCPS coverage of the site for weekend work. Any weekend work will require the contractor to pay for CCPS building coverage of $30/hr. If necessary to complete work, work may be granted during the school year on weekends with prior approval by CCPS Construction. The BOECC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids received whenever such rejections or waivers are in the best interest of CCPS.
