This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 and Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) part 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued INFORMATION FOR POTENTIAL OFFERORS: The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS and IMF), Bremerton, Washington intends to award a stand-alone Firm-Fixed-Price contract to accomplish fire suppression systems maintenance, paint locker certification, and fire extinguisher inspection/certification. Work will be accomplished at PSNS and IMF in Bremerton, Washington. SCOPE OVERVIEW: The contractor shall: Perform semi-annual / annual inspection of Suppression Systems and annual Gaylord kitchen range hood cleaning on board COMPACFLT B/M Program Berthing barges and emergency repairs on a "call" basis including parts and labor; semi/annual inspection/certification of paint lockers; CO2 bottles repair/certification on all COMPACFLT B/M barges The Period of Performance is scheduled to be 12 months from date of contract award. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811310, Business Size Standard of $12,500,000. All offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive award of Government contracts.
