North Whitehill Drive Drainage Improvements Project - Phase 1. - The construction, including all materials, labor, and associated appurtenances, for construction of 165 linear feet of dry swale. PROJECT LOCATION: Nash Street between North Whitehill Drive and South Whitehill Drive Furnish all labor and materials to construct the project as indicated on the Contract Documents. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Installation and maintenance of required erosion and sediment control measures and safety fencing. 2. Demolition of selected site features. 3. Selective tree removal. 4. Coordination with utility owners for utility pole stabilization and telephone line protection. 5. Dry Swale construction as indicated on plan. 6. Traffic maintenance in accordance with the prepared plan 7. Daily replacement of mailboxes and street signs, even if replacement is temporary. 8. Chain link fence replacement. 9. The intent and purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to accept bids for North Whitehill Drive Drainage Improvements project-Phase 1 in accordance with the Scope of Work, Project Manual Specifications, Construction Documents, General Conditions of the Contract and Drawings. Additional details regarding the scope of work can be found in Specifications Manual. The general character and scope of the work are illustrated by the drawings and specifications. Any additional detail and other information deemed necessary by the Architect or Engineer will be furnished to the Contractor when and as required by the work. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee with not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, and may be certified check or a cashier's check or a Bid Bond made payable to the City of Petersburg.
