Site work for a water / sewer project in Montgomery, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
A cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond, payment bond and a one-year maintenance bond for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and /or Contract and bidder/contractor agrees that the Contract can be terminated if the bidder/contractor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter. Bidder/Contractor declares that it has not received from a governmental body a notice of noncompliance with a provision of Subchapter J. Chapter 552, Texas Government Code, or, if such notice has been received, bidder/contractor has taken adequate steps to ensure future compliance with subchapter and has provided or upon request will provide documentation of same. The scope of the project includes approximately 350 linear feet of 12" sanitary sewer line installation by bore and jack construction, and approximately 60 linear feet of 12" sanitary sewer line installation by pipe bursting. Bidders desiring further information or further interpretation of any part of the Contract Documents are hereby obligated to submit a written request online to the www.CivcastUSA.com system for such information to Engineer not less than 72 hours before the Bid opening.
