A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Project generally includes, but is not limited to, the relocation/replacement of approximately 650 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer main and approximately 450 linear feet of 6-inch sanitary sewer laterals; installing and/or replacing 4 sanitary sewer manholes; associated demolition work; surface restoration; and all other work identified in the Contract Documents. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract TA Truck Plaza Sanitary Sewer Relocation. The Project includes the following Work: Relocation/replacement of approximately 650 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer main and approximately 450 linear feet of 6-inch sanitary sewer laterals; installing and/or replacing 4 sanitary sewer manholes; associated demolition work; surface restoration; and all other work identified in the Contract Documents. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Statutory Requirements. Bidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this project, and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted via in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Telephone inquiries are unacceptable. The Mid-Centre County Authority reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Mid-Centre County Authority, and to reject any or all proposals.
