The Downriver Community Conference (DCC), Brownfield Consortium (DCCBC) consisting of 23 communities, is seeking proposals from full service environmental consulting firms to provide all facets of environmental services. The selected firms will provide services on a variety of brownfield redevelopment projects located in and around Southeast Michigan funded by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). The program objective is to promote and facilitate brownfield redevelopment projects within the DCCBC. The DCCBC will provide financial and technical assistance to communities undertaking projects requiring environmental planning, assessment, and cleanup activities. The number and extent of assignments is unknown at this time; however, it will require the selected firms to be available throughout the year on an as needed basis. Assignments may be made periodically at short notice and require qualified staff to be available. Assume that the overall project time to completion is one (1) year but know that specific task duration within the 1-year time frame is not important to this proposal, only the identification and relative order for completion of the key project federal cross-cutter submittals/approvals, technical tasks, and reports/reporting. Please select a due care remedy, including assumptions that support the remedy with the relevant submittals and technical tasks. Note: there is more than one correct remedy, just select the one you would like to advance and support for this proposal. Do not cost out your solution other than make it realistic that it would be less than $750,000 or support the need for additional funding. You will be scored on the identification of all the key steps of the project and the integration of those steps leading to its successful completion.
