Description: The Wiseburn Unified School District (District) issues a Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ/P) to invite the submission of statement of qualifications and proposals (Response(s)) from contractors to perform construction services and preliminary (preconstruction) services for the District s 135th & Aviation Sports Complex Project pursuant to the lease-leaseback delivery method. Project background and general scope of work: The 135th & Aviation site has undergone significant changes as the original buildings on the premises have been demolished. In their place, an exciting field construction project is being planned, which aims to provide diverse and enhanced facilities for various sports activities. One of the key features of this project is the addition of ample field space that caters to multiple sports, including Little League Baseball, NFHS Softball, and Youth Soccer. Recognizing the need for essential amenities, the project also includes plans for new parking , restroom facilities, warming kitchen, and equipment storage. These additions will enhance the overall experience of players, spectators, and staff, providing convenient access and ensuring safe and comfortable conditions for everyone utilizing the site. The scope of work may include but is not limited to site work, underground utilities, irrigation, construction of new parking lots, dugouts, batting cages, concessions, restroom facilities, janitorial closet, concrete, paving, sports lighting, score boards, low voltage systems, fencing, gates, signage, etc. A Class B Contractors License that is current, valid, and in good standing with the California Contractor s State License Board, and meet the minimum project requirements noted within the RFQ/P.
