Hernando County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a qualified Respondent to generate designs for Runway 3-21 rehabilitation, Runway 3-21 shift, and an inactive runway conversion to a taxiway. The Respondent will also provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for the construction phase(s) of the projects. Date Questions Due:February 26, 2024, 5:00pm Date Answers Due to all Firms (Tentative):February 28, 2024, 5:00pm The scope of the project will consist of the following components: Design of Runway 3-21 Rehabilitation; Design of Runway 3-21 Shift, as detailed within the Airport's approved Airport Layout Plan and Master Plan; Design of inactive runway conversion to taxiway; Airfield Nav-Aid relocation; Development of Construction Safety and Phasing Plan (CSPP); Airspace coordination (OE/AAA) and permitting. Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) services The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, with or without cause, to waive technicalities, or to accept the Proposal which, in its sole judgment, best serves the interest of the County, or to award a Contract to the next most qualified Proposer if a successful Proposer does not execute a Contract within thirty (30) days after approval of the selection by the Board of County Commissioners or other competent authority. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
