Marie MI to correct inadequate roof systems, repair moisture and ventilation issues and improve energy efficiency . Progress pictures of installed insulation must be provided to STHA. o Install a new Duvont 24"x 44" Cardboard Attic Baffle (equal or greater) in every bay at eave allowing to vent proper. o Install new 5/8" OSB with approved H-clips to the entire roof surface allowing a twoinch gap at the ridge. o Install a 1 1/4 white galvanized drip edge. o Install ALCO Shield Granular+ Ice and Water Protector (equal or greater). o 2 rows at eve, 1 row in valley, 1 row on rakes, 1 row at side wall transitions o Step flash as needed when installing shingles making sure new flashing are properly weather lapped with the homes siding or exterior finish system. o Install Perma "R" ProFelt Plus Roof Underlayment (equal or greater) o Install an approved Landmark SwiftStart starter shingle starter strip (equal or greater) o Install CertainTeed Landmark 30 Year Architectural Shingles (equal or greater) Comply with manufactures instructions in full detail including each step-in sequence and accepted industry standards. o Colors will be black and brown per address. Have protective plastic tarps ready (provided by contractor). o The contractor is responsible for any interior water damage during installation and must return to original condition o Contractor is responsible for protecting all vinyl siding during the project from breakage or markings from falling debris. Properly dispose of all debris and any and all waste using a large rolling magneton final clean up. o Site must be free of any and all debris, daily. o Progress pictures must be submitted with certified payroll.
