Renovation of a mixed-use development in Queensbury, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of April 10, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. No. 3 - Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Construction Question Deadline 03/11/2024 All questions and/or requests for clarification regarding the contract documents shall be directed in writing to JMZ Architects, David VanGuilder, AIA, fax (518) 793-1735 or dvanguilder@jmzarchitects.com. Telephone inquiries will not be considered. All questions must be received no later than the close of the business day, seven days prior to the bid date. Addenda may be issued during the bid period at the discretion of the Architect. Work of these contracts, as described in greater detail in the contract documents, is summarized as follows: Roof replacement and HVAC equipment upgrades of the Student Center and Warren Hall. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to SUNY Adirondack or Bid Bond for a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid. All questions and/or requests for clarification regarding the contract documents shall be directed in writing to JMZ Architects, David VanGuilder, AIA, fax (518) 793-1735 or dvanguilder@jmzarchitects.com. Telephone inquiries will not be considered. All questions must be received no later than the close of the business day, seven days prior to the bid date. Addenda may be issued during the bid period at the discretion of the Architect. These contracts are governed by public bidding laws of New York State, subject to compliance with Article 8 of the New York State Labor Law regarding prevailing rate of wages, and exempt from payment of certain sales tax laws of New York State and other government municipalities. Prevailing Wage Rates apply to all work performed for Warren and Washington Counties. A "Performance Bond" and a "Labor and Materials Payment Bond" in the amount of the contract price and the form described in the Contract Documents will be required from the successful bidder. The Board of Trustees of SUNY Adirondack reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding or to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid which is in the best interest of the County. Document Note: For a non-refundable fee of Fifteen ($15), interested firms may request and receive a CD with electronic copies of the bidding and contract documents.
