Saving Project...

Demolition and renovation of a medical facility in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a 24,850-square-foot medical facility; and for the demolition of a medical facility.

Upgrades and repairs to Hospital Centre aminal facility. The scope of the project includes partial demolition work and complete redevelopment and modernization of the animal laboratory sector located on floor D of block 7. This redevelopment includes, among other things, the replacement of certain equipment, including the cage washer and sterilizer and construction of a new mechanical room. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded a full team of architectural and engineering professional consultants following Requests for proposals AO-23-054 and AO-23-055, respectively. Preliminary studies and conceptual planning are underway. Preliminary plans are expected to begin in early summer 2024. Project implementation will be phased. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling a tender for the first phase contractor relating to the demolition work is anticipated in late fall 2024.
