In accordance with the Agreement, the date of Substantial Completion is July 12, 2024, and the date of readiness for final payment is August 2, 2024 Description: The Project consists of the installation of underground utilities (water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer) and the construction of a new street for the Haven Hills Estates Development project located adjacent to C.T.H. "N" in the City of Monroe. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the Bidder as soon as the contract is signed. If after 15 days the Bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages.
