**As of April 16, 2024 project was awarded to Vinton Construction Company, awarded amount is $2,081,269.59.** Concrete Street Paving The bids shall be labeled "1-24 Concrete Street Paving" The estimated major quantities of 1-24 Concrete Street Paving are listed below: o 6" Plain Concrete Pavement with Curb & Gutter 16920 Square Yards o 12" Storm Sewer 3300 Linear Feet o 6" of 1-1/4 CABC over 6" of 3" Breaker 18850 Square Yards o 6" Concrete Walk, Driveway Aprons, and Curb Ramps 11400 Square Feet o 4" Concrete Walk 15100 Square Feet o Landscaping 8800 Square Yards The above work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the specifications and contract now on file with the City Clerk. No bid can be received or considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, or a bid bond in equal amount payable to the City as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within ten (10) days from the date of the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
