Description

Site work for a civil project in Martinez, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

**As of March 12, 2026, project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work to be done generally consists of raising the western levee along Grayson Creek and Walnut Creek between State Route 4 to the south and BNSF railroad tracks to the north to increase the flood protection for the CCCSD wastewater treatment plant located in Martinez. Work includes placing and compacting levee fill, constructing concrete flood walls, reconstructing a concrete maintenance road, removing railroad tracks, replacing fence and gates, paving driveway conforms and adjusting and relocating various utilities. Engineer's cost estimate: BASE BID: $7,130,000 Bid Additive 1: $310,000 Bid Additive 2: $352,000 Bid Alternate 1: $1,075,000 Number of Working Days: 120 As per Adda 2 Question Deadline 02/12/2026 at 12:00 PM PT.
