A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work to be done generally consists of raising the western levee along Grayson Creek and Walnut Creek between State Route 4 to the south and BNSF railroad tracks to the north to increase the flood protection for the CCCSD wastewater treatment plant located in Martinez. Work includes placing and compacting levee fill, constructing concrete flood walls, reconstructing a concrete maintenance road, removing railroad tracks, replacing fence and gates, paving driveway conforms and adjusting and relocating various utilities.
