The Oregon Department of Transportation is seeking 1 qualified Contractor to provide geotechnical investigation services, including all equipment, labor, machinery, supplies, and materials to access and drill up to ten geotechnical borings for the I-84 (Westbound) over Union Pacific Railroad bridge replacement project in Hood River, Oregon. Several of the borings are located within a wetland and subject to in-water work restrictions. Bid Opening will occur immediately following the Bid Opening Date and time for this ITB unless otherwise specified in an Addendum. Until further notice ODOT does not intend to hold in-person public Bid Openings. ODOT, in its sole discretion and in lieu of in-person public Bid Openings, will provide an electronic public Bid Opening alternative via Microsoft Teams. Only the name of each Bidder and the Bid amounts will be read at the Bid Opening. It is optional for Bidders to attend the Bid Opening. Award decisions will not be made at the Bid Opening. This Contract is effective on the date it has been signed by the Parties and all required approvals have been obtained. No work or compensation under the Contract is authorized until notice to proceed has been issued in writing (email acceptable) by ODOT. Unless otherwise extended or terminated, this Contract shall expire September 30, 2024, or when all Contractor obligations under the Contract are completed in conformance with all applicable requirements and payment has been made in full, whichever is sooner.
Bidders are cautioned that statements made by ODOTs representatives are not binding and do not change ITB requirements unless confirmed by written Addendum issued for this ITB All deliverables required under the Agreement must be delivered no later than September 30, 2024.
