Site work and paving for a civil project in Carlsbad, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Carlsbad is seeking a contractor to provide all equipment, labor, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all other items necessary to complete the construction of the following, as specified and shown in the Construction Documents: installation of asphalt speed cushions and associated signage and striping on Victoria Avenue, Highland Drive, Nueva Castilla Way and Circulo Sequoia as specified. The cutoff date and time to submit questions or substitution request regarding this Project via Online Q&A in the online bidding portal is March 15, 2024, at 5 p.m. No questions will be entertained after that date. The answers to questions submitted during the bidding period will be published in an addendum and provide to those bidding on the Project no later than March 21, 2024. License Requirements A Project Duration 60 working days Liquidated Damages $2,500 per day Each Bid shall be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier s check or Bid Bond secured from a surety company satisfactory to the Agency, the amount of which shall not be less than 10% of the submitted Total Bid Price, The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond each in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price.
