Chatham County is requesting services from a firm with experience in Design-Build and similar type facilities to form a team to work with Aging Services and the County. Aging Services will be the lead agency for the County for this project with the The project is include in the county 2025-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) assistance of the Facilities & Construction Director and the Manager’s Office. The new design will need to include better access and flow for the day-to-day operations based upon the needs identified from the guidance of Aging Services. SCOPE OF WORK Chatham County Aging Services Renovations 1. Meet with Chatham County staff to determine the needs of the project. The staff will include but is not limited to the Aging Services, Facilities & Construction Director and IT Director. 2. Review existing facility layout and systems. 3. Investigate the kitchen needs and develop a plan to address those incorporating the existing space and equipment as much as possible. 4. Develop a preliminary plan with intended minimal impact to the MEP systems to present to the staff to begin the review/edit process. 5.
