Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Belleville, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; playground / park / athletic field; educational facility; and water / sewer project.

Work to be started after May 27th and completed by June 14th, 2024. Details are as follows: 1. The existing road material will be removed and dirt work done to install new concrete in the listed area. This shall be installed to adequately withstand the daily use by "Heavy vehi- cle". Therefore, there must be a minimum 8" thick of "Heavier Mix" in the driving lane. 2. Work with "city crew" to incorporate the removal and replacement of the street guttering to provide adequate drainage of this area. USD109 has the right to refuse any and all bids. -Bids will be presented to B.O.E. at the meeting on 3/7/2024 - Notification to Bidders will be the following day. 3. Existing curbing on the south side of the area to be removed and replaced as well. Existing material dis- posed of by contractor. USD 109 will be responsible for removal of the shed and other items in the area. USD 109 will be responsible for removal of any fencing in the area needing to be removed and the reinstallation of such fencing.
