The project will be subject to prevailing wages if contract value exceeds $500,000. Preference shall be given to Colorado resident bidders and for Colorado labor, as provided by law. The Work of this Contract consists of replacing 402 exhaust terminations at apartment unit vents. Project shall include fabrication and installation of new dryer vent terminations. Location is the Aggie Village complex, buildings 240, 241, & 242 on the Colorado State University (CSU) campus. The project will be delivered under a Design/Bid/Build delivery method. Bid Intent Optional Bid Intent Deadline 04/01/2024 02:00 PM EDT Question Acceptance Deadline 03/26/2024 02:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No Anticipated Construction Start May 1, 2024 Anticipated Construction Finish Aug 1, 2024 Award Notification (anticipated) 7 business days after bid opening Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 50 % - Labor and Materials Bond 50 % if a contract amounts to $150,000 or more, the awarded contractor shall provide payment and performance bonds not less than 50% of the value of the contract. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals on the basis of being unresponsive to this AFB or for failure to disclose requested information.
