A pre-purchase of the main equipment (substation and bus bars) is planned for this mandate. Note that the pre-purchase equipment acquisition period will be in parallel with the design of the preliminary plans and specifications, contrary to what is included in the study schedule. The construction site schedule is determined based on delivery times for pre-purchased equipment. The construction will take place over two phases. A first in the summer of 2025 and a second in the summer and fall of 2026. The cuts must be coordinated in order to have as little impact as possible on the Cégep's activities. They may be concentrated during the reading week in October 2026. Fee adjustments will be possible if a different phasing is planned during the mandate. The building will remain occupied during design as well as during construction. The possible period for carrying out the noisiest and most disturbing work is from June to August. The Cégep wishes to have a minimum of interruptions and for them to be as short as possible.
