Ake Stevens Sewer District Lift Station 2C Force Main Extension and Gravity Sewer Improvements ENGINEERS ESTIMATE: SCHEDULE A $2,650,000 SCHEDULE B $2,550,000 This Contract provides for two schedules of work, as described below, including other work all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Provisions, and the Specifications. Schedule A includes the installation and connection of approximately 3,760 feet of 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch diameter sewer pressure pipe (force main) from Lift Station 2C (12507 20th Street NE) to a connection with an existing pipe within the intersection of North Lakeshore Drive and Mitchell Road. The work includes installation of approximately 40 feet of 12-inch force main within a 20-inch steel casing to be cored through an existing concrete bridge at the intersection of 20th Street NE and Main Street. This work also includes surface restoration and roadway rehabilitation including asphalt paving, grind and overlay, curb, gutter, sidewalks, and ramps. Schedule B includes the installation of approximately 1,600 LF of new 8-inch to 16-inch PVC gravity sewer pipe along 20th Street NE, 125th Avenue NE, 18th Street NE, and Main Street in Lake Stevens, Washington. This work includes rehabilitation of one existing manhole, completion of cured-in-place pipe lining of approximately 200 feet of existing 8-inch sewer main, installation of new manhole structures, installation of new electrical utility equipment and conduit, and surface restoration and roadway rehabilitation including asphalt paving, grind and overlay, curb, gutter, sidewalks, and ramps. The Work shall be physically complete within 175working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the District Manager, District Office, Lake Stevens, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the Lake Stevens Sewer District and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer. Financing of the Project has been provided by Lake Stevens Sewer District, Washington. The Lake Stevens Sewer District expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
