Outdoor lighting and renovation of an educational facility in Merced, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for outdoor lighting for a educational facility.

As of 3/22/2024, this project has been cancelled. The project will go out for rebid. No additional information is available at this time. This project will replace the lighting control system and fluorescent lights in both Science and Engineering 1 (SE1) and Student Services Building (SSB) with the installation of a new lighting control system, low voltage switches and wiring and LED direct driven lighting on all floors. This work will be required to be done in phases to make the interruptions the least intrusive as possible, as the buildings are occupied. Requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents must be in writing and received by March 11, 2024, no later than 4:00pm. Questions received after the above-noted deadline may be answered at the discretion of the University's Representative. Questions may be emailed. If the original bid bond or certified check is not received within 3 business days of bid opening, we will move to the next lowest bidder. An electronic copy of your bid bond or certified check shall be included with your bid. Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Anticipated Contract Amount shall accompany each Bid for bids over $640,000. The surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, an admitted surety insurer (as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120)."
