The project includes 900 LF of 6" PVC waterline, 11 service laterals, reconnection of 9 service laterals (that are being replaced as part of the current Lead Service Line Replacement project), 6 main line valves, and 3 fire hydrants. Additionally, the existing roadway will be reconstructed with drainage along with restoration of right-of-way and easement areas disturbed by construction. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of the Village of New London, Ohio, in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. After the award of the contract let by competitive bid and prior to the time the contract is entered into, bidders shall submit the affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code, Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Huron County, Ohio.
