Prospective bidders should note that the work is defined as follows Schedule A – PVRWRF Biosolids Loadout Facility Improvement Project: The work comprises of construction to remove an existing biosolid hopper and install a new biosolid hopper on the existing structural frame, including stripping and recoating the existing structural frame, installing new lighting, electrical connections and control equipment, new water piping and drain connections and stripping, recoating, and reinstalling the existing work platform on top of the biosolids hopper; temporary removal, storage of two conveyors to facilitate installation of the hopper, reinstallation and testing of the conveyors after installation of the hopper, installing a truck scale facility including utility relocations, excavation and concrete work for construction of structural foundations, and installing a 100-foot long weighbridge, and associated electrical and control system; install and maintain a temporary sludge conveying system to convey solids from the existing belt presses within the Sludge Dewatering Building to the temporary loading area, inclusive of conveyors, supports, temporary removal and storage of a louver to facilitate installation of the temporary sludge conveying system, electrical and control equipment for the conveyors, structural supports for the conveyors, installing and maintaining temporary containment in the temporary solids loadout area, removal of all these temporary facilities upon completion of the permanent work and restoration of all aspects of the site disturbed by the temporary facilities. The work shall include, but not be limited to, all labor, materials, and supplies needed to replace existing biosolids hopper, install truck scale facilities, provide new or modify existing piping, electrical, and control systems, and demolition and properly disposal of existing equipment, piping, electrical, controls, and associated appurtenances, in accordance with these specifications and the contract drawings Schedule B – PVRWRF Vactor Truck Dump Station Project: The work comprises of furnishing and installing reinforced concrete structures for a Lift Station Cleaning Dump Station and Maintenance Dump Station. The work will include, but not limited removal and disposal of existing asphalt, existing concrete ramp, and existing above ground piping and concrete foundations; over-excavation and re-compaction beneath the structures; construction of the dump stations with associated piping, washdown water system, water monitors, mechanically cleaned bar screens, drop inlets, connection to existing recycled and potable water lines, furnish and install 4-inch water and 8-inch recycled water pipelines, 18-inch sewer pipeline and manholes; furnish and install a metal building for lime storage with an emergency eyewash station and electrical, controls, and associated appurtenances for the dump stations and yard lighting, in accordance with these specifications and the contract drawings License Requirements Classification A - General Engineering Contractor Liquidated Damages $1000.00 Estimated Bid Value $7.5 - $8.0 Million *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
