Site work for a civil project in Berea, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bidders must be a of record for the project in order for their bid to be considered. Each bidder is required to furnish with the proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The owner intends and requires that this project be substantially completed on or before 17 months from Notice to Proceed, and completed 18 months from Notice to Proceed. Water Treatment Plant Storage Tank 2024 according to specifications on file in the Engineering Department. All questions during bidding shall be submitted in writing no later than 3:00 p.m. on March 21, 2024. DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. Scope of Work. This section includes surface preparation, painting, and finishing of exposed interior and exterior surfaces. Surface preparation, priming, and finish coats specified in this section are in addition to shop priming and surface treatment specified under other sections. B. Definitions. "Paint" includes coating systems materials, primers, emulsions, enamels, stains, sealers and fillers, and other applied materials whether used as prime, intermediate, or finish coats.
