Partial Roof Replacement at Clinton Township Middle School The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of the existing roof system (Roof Q), modifications to roof drains, uninstall / reinstall of the existing rooftop mounted lightning protection, and modification to equipment curbs as required. The Contract Documents define the full project scope. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bids or all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22 and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions, that may be in the best interest of the Board. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder as defined in N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(t) and N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18 (c), as applicable. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of (1) a bid bond or certified or cashier's check payable to Clinton Township Board of Education equal to 10% of the amount of the bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000.00 per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24, and (2) Certificate of Consent of Surety per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25.
