This contract provides for the removal of four fish passage barrier culverts on Eagle Creek and the installation of four 3-sided pre-cast buried concrete box culverts between river-mile (RM) 0.4 and 0.6 on Eagle Creek. The four project sites are referred to throughout the Contract Plans and these Contract Provisions by the last name of the adjacent Landowner. From downstream to upstream, the sites are referred to as "Downs (Lower)", "Downs (Upper)", "Loreth", and "Morton". This work includes, but is not limited to installation, maintenance and restoration of temporary construction access routes and staging areas; temporary and permanent utility relocation; temporary traffic control as needed to safely deliver, handle, and stage equipment and materials; structure, channel, and roadway excavation; in-waterwork requiring site isolation, temporary diversion of streamflow, shoring and dewatering as necessary; temporary erosion and sediment control; design, procurement, and installation of the new crossing structures; streambed and bank restoration; construction surveying required to perform the aforementioned tasks; and all other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction and addenda thereto.
