The general prevailing wage rate of per diem wages, as determined by the Director of Industrial Relations, are available from the DIR website In accordance with the provisions of Section 1773 of the California Labor Code, the City Council of the City of El Cajon has ascertained the general prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations applicable to the work to be done as listed in the California Department of Transportation publication entitled general Prevailing Wage Rates, dated March 1, 1994 which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. The Contractor shall be subject to liquidated damages at the rate of $1,000.00 for each calendar day its books and records are withheld. Contractor agrees that in case the Work is not completed before or upon the expiration of the Contract Time, damage will be sustained by Owner, and that it is and will be impracticable to determine the actual damage which Owner will sustain in the event and by reason of such delay, and it is therefore agreed that Contractor shall pay to Owner the amount of $2,500.00 dollars for each day of delay, which shall be the period between the expiration of the Contract time and the date of final acceptance by Owner, as liquidated damages and not as a penalty The Contractor shall secure a No Fee building permit from the City of El Cajon. A City of El Cajon business license is required for this Contract, which shall be obtained and paid for by the Contractor. The Contractor shall have a current Class B or C10 contractor license issued by the Contractors State License Board of the State of California. A C46 (Solar Contractor) license is desired in addition to the requirements stated, but not compulsory. Project Duration 100 Working Days
