REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES The City of South Sioux City, Nebraska is soliciting qualifications for an engineering firm for the design and creation of a plastic road at the Foundry Road. This road will be approximately 2,500 linear feet and 26' wide. The City of South Sioux City has been awarded funds from the Nebraska Environmental Trust with the balance ofthe project paid by the City of South Sioux City. Submittals must include a letter of interest and qualifications. Review and recommendation will be made by the City Council Selection Committee based on the following criteria: (1) Technical expertise of the firm; (2) Past performance on similar projects; (3) Familiarity with community and project type; (4) Capacity of firm; (5) Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, methods of procurement, state and local compliance issues; (6) Key personnel. Please provide three (3) copies of your submission clearly marked on the exterior as containing "Request for Qualifications for Engineering Consulting Services - Foundry Road Project". Submissions must remain firm for sixty (60) days from the submission due date. At its sole discretion, the City of South Sioux City reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and to select the submission that is deemed to be in the city's best interest.
