The work includes the removal and replacement of the skimmer assembly, scum trough, center drive mechanism, drive unit, drive unit control wiring, and field painting for Nitrification Clarifier No. 4, located at the Stony Brook Regional Sewerage Authority's River Road WWTP, 290 River Road, Princeton, NJ 08540. Successful bidder must furnish 100 percent Performance Bond and 100 percent Labor and Materials Bond. In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 58:11B-26, N.J.A.C. 7:22-3.17(a)24 and 4.17(a)24, the contractor (subcontractor) shall comply with all of the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-9. Certified, Treasurer's or Cashier's Check or bid bond in the sum of 10 percent of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000, Agreement of Surety, Surety Disclosure Statement and Certification (if bid amount is greater than or equal to $800,000), List of Subcontractors, Ownership Disclosure, Bidder's Affidavit, Non-Collusion Affidavit, References, Acknowledgement of Receipt of Changes, Bidders Check List, and Questionnaire are required with each Bid. Bidders shall not remove and submit the Bid pages separate from the volume of Contract Documents, but shall submit their Bid bound with the complete volume of attached Contract Documents, including all pages correctly assembled and all Addenda attached. The Owner reserves the right to reject all Bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:1113.2 and N.J.A.C. 7:22-9.10(a). *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. The Owner/Engineer will neither approve nor disapprove particular products prior to the opening of Bids; such products will be considered when offered by the Contractor for incorporation into the Work.
