This work shall consist of restoration of existing sewers by installation of a resin - impregnated flexible felt tube into the existing sewer line. The tube is installed utilizing a vertical inversion standpipe and hydrostatic head. Curing is performed by circulating hot water or other approved means to produce a hard, impermeable pipe. The Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) will be continuous and tight fitting. Also included is the separation of sanitary and storm sewers within selected manholes. CURED-IN-PLACE PIPE (CIPP) Description. This work shall consist of the reconstruction of pipelines and conduits by the installation of a resin- impregnated flexible tube, which is tightly formed to the original conduit. The resin is cured using either hot water under hydrostatic pressure or steam pressure within the tube.
