The City of Miami Beach Facilities and Fleet Management Department requests your quote for the repairs of the Tranquility Fountain at the BASS Museum, pursuant to and in accordance with the specifications contained herein. City departments may, but are not required to, utilize the results of this ITQ to acquire the referenced service. Award of ITQ does not grant the successful contractor(s) exclusive rights or any guarantee of work to provide the services. This project aims to fix up and improve the current fountain focusing on fixing cracks, making it waterproof, and changing the water pump system. o GC is to send a submittal package with product information for approval. GC confirms all material to be purchased and finished for this project are high quality products. Project Location: BASS Museum, 2100 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139 Estimated Budget: $65,000.00 Questions will be allowed up until 10:00 AM ET on March 13, 2024. Questions must be directed to PMPurchasing@miamibeachfl.gov. If the requirement applies, Bidder agrees it, and its sub-contractors, shall pay laborers and mechanics employed under the contract no less than the prevailing wage rate and fringe benefit payments to be used in implementation of this article shall be those last published by the United States Department of Labor in the Federal Register prior to the date of issuance of the ITQ. Liquidated Damages: 1. Failure to achieve Substantial Completion: $ 200/day 2. Failure to achieve Final Completion: $ 200/day Performance & Payment Bond Requirements Shall only apply if the Grand Total exceeds $200,000.
