Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the construction of a 29,275-square-foot educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Construct new 29,275 square foot slab on grade addition consisting of new gymnasium, AG shop, restrooms, locker rooms, connecting corridor and interior renovations including High School secured entrance. New addition to be constructed with structural precast, cold-formed metal framing, masonry veneer, composite fiber cement panels, membrane and standing seam roof, and aluminum windows and storefronts. Interior construction to consist of metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, wood gym flooring, bleachers and resilient flooring. Project also includes renovation of existing High School office, classrooms, restrooms, and corridors. Bidders will be required to provide Bid Security of a sum no less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid Sum. The bid security shall be a certified check, cashier's check, bank money order or bid bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Hereinafter this bid security shall be referred to as the bid bond. Bids will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act for Clay County, IL. Do not include sales taxes in the bids, as the School District is sales tax exempt.
